The **Spyderco Genzow HatchetHawk**  was designed by the German adventurer and historian Martin Genzow. The Genzow HatchetHawk is a versatile, powerful tomahawk that combines the best features of the traditional Francesca Frankish axe, the classic beard axe and the tomahawk.


The head of the axe is made from tough 5160 tool steel and finished by hand while maintaining the rustic character. The shape of the head and the slightly bevelled angle provide you with the perfect cutting edge that is great for both chopping and detailed cutting tasks. 


The handle is made from polypropylene plastic with an aluminium core and has an oval cross-section and an ergonomic shape that ensures maximum energy transfer and excellent control.


The moment you don't use your axe you can protect the head with the included handmade leather sheath you can secure with a leather strap. A belt loop at the back of the sheath enables you carry the axe on your belt.
