The **Spyderco Zoomer** is an exceptionally beautiful bushcraft knife, designed by Dutch knife designer Thomas Zoomer. The Spyderco Zoomer was introduced at the 2018 Spyderco Meet in Amsterdam, a small gathering with 80 Spyderco fans and the Spyderco team. Zoomer told us at this meet that he was looking to design a solid bushcraft knife with as main function that it was comfortable to hold and use. In addition, the knife should have a nice place to place your thumb during the more precise jobs. The result? The Spyderco Zoomer! 

 The Spyderco Zoomer has a unique G10 handle. Remarkable about this handle is that it is a hidden-tang construction. This means that the steel of the blade runs throughout the entire handle. The G10 handle is wrapped around the hidden-tang to make sure your hands don't touch the steel while you use it. As such the Zoomer is great in hand, even in cold or warm circumstances. The G10 handle is comprised of two parts of G10 that seamlessly merge together. As such the handle appears to be made of one piece of material which gives it a remarkable look and feel. Of course the look and feel are not all that make this handle so special. Because the G10 is rounded and enhanced with a polished finish the Spyderco Zoomer is absolutely amazing to use. Words can hardly describe how good the ergonomics of the handle are. The Zoomer is a knife that you need to have held at least once in your life. A remarkable detail is the G10 which runs all over the entire spine of the blade. This is rare for bushcraft knives. This is specifically designed as such to make sure your thumb has a nice place to rest during use. 

 The blade is made from CPM 20CV steel A robust type of steel that can handle its own. The Spyderco Zoomer is enhanced with an appleseed-grind. This means that the blade has the shape of a convex grind. The result is a stronger blade with a teeny tiny razor-sharp edge. The Spyderco Zoomer comes with a stunning dark-brown leather sheath with a generous belt loop. At the front of the sheath there is a practical storage flap to store, for instance, a sharpening stone, compass or dry tinder to start a fire.
