**The James Brand Elko** is a modern, compact pocket knife perfect to accompany your keys. The minimalistic James design is definitely what characterizes the Elko. The handle is made from sleek aluminium with a stunning anodized finish. The blade has an interesting drop point-like shape with an open nail-nick.


You open it with two hands and because of the slipjoint it is kept in place when opened. Still, it won’t completely lock. As a result it is legal to carry in many places in the world. At the end of the handle you will find a protrusion that serves as backspacer, flathead screwdriver and lanyard eye.


The Elko might not be the pocket knife you use to carry out daily tasks. It is, however, the knife you will always have with you.

small and simple which is perfect as i live in the uk and it's not noticable on my keyring. much smaller and comfortable in the pocket than a typical size swiss army knife. 

conversely, the blade is very small to be good for much else besides opening boxes and cutting fruit, and the bottle opener isn't any better than a plastic lighter. expensive too - i wish i'd brought the cheaper plain blade without the coating. still, the knife seems good quality and will hopefully last me many years.
