This **TSPROF sharpening oil** is suited for diamond-coated sharpening stones, sharpening stones made from aluminium oxide and natural sharpening stones. A sharpening oil helps keep the sharpening material together, creating a type of slurry. This slurry provides you with quick results. In addition, this sharpening oil helps you keep the sharpening stone in great shape. When using a sharpening oil the steel of your knife won't absorb as much sharpening material as you sharpen your knife. This means your stone will remain flat longer. 

Please note: the TSPROF sharpening oil is a liquid oil based on natural omega-9 oleic acid with a couple additions. By adding it the oil can no longer be consumed! The oil is also not suited for mechanical parts such as the hinges of pocket knives.

## Use TSPRROF sharpening oil

Apply a thin layer of sharpening oil on the sharpening stone before each use. Often a couple drops are already enough. Spread it out properly before you start sharpening. The oil and slurry can easily be removed with a dry piece of cloth.
