The Turboflame Turbostik is the perfect lighter for on the campsite or at home in the kitchen. Because of its long and slim shape the Turbostik is incredibly practical when you need to light difficult to reach places. Think of barbecues, candles and heaters. In addition, it can withstand the wind and will never let you down!

Not the product i thought it might be, less powerful and the flame is quite small.


Deze aansteker bevalt me zeer goed voor het aansteken van aanmaakhout in de houtkachel. Zoals met alle blauwe vlam aanstekers is het altijd even uitproberen wat het beste werkt, nooit te snel doordrukken naar de vonk maar ook weer niet te langzaam zodat je een goed gas/lucht mengsel krijgt voor ontbranding. Zolang er voldoende gas in het reservoir zat werkt deze voor mij goed.

De beveiliging die je naar rechts moet drukken voor de knop naar voren gedrukt kan worden en er gas uitkomt vond ik eerst een beetje irritant maar went snel. In principe een goed systeem.

De vlam is goed instelbaar met het degelijk aanvoelend draaiknopje onderaan en het haakje is ook handig om de aansteker mee op te hangen en vouwt mooi op over het uiteinde als je deze niet wilt gebruiken.

Nog wel 2 dingen die een beetje tegenvallen:
- De brander is net niet perfect gecentreerd, niet erg maar het ziet er van de voorkant niet symmetrisch uit. Puur een schoonheidsfoutje en waarschijnlijk niet representatief voor elk exemplaar.
- Kleiner gas reservoir dan verwacht: ongeveer van beneden tot de bovenkant van het transparante stukje. Gas inhoud met 100% butaan gas 1.32g tot 1.35g op basis van voor/na gewicht van de laatste twee hervullingen. Omgerekend naar volume is dit ca 2.3 mL gezien de lengte kon dit makkelijk 2 of 3 keer zoveel zijn, beetje een gemiste kans. Het kleine gas volume is echter geen ramp omdat het wel goed zichtbaar is hoeveel er nog in zit en je op tijd bij kunt vullen.
