The **WE Knife Chimera Hakkapella Damasteel 814DS-2** is a cool and large pocket knife that looks like it came from a different planet. The design is robust but still looks refined thanks to the subtle details. It is a real user's knife, perfect for daily use.


This version of the Chimera is very special. For this knife WE Knife namely used a Hakkapella Damasteel blade. This is a Swedish type of Damasteel, made from RWL34 and PSF27. Two types of powdered steel that are great on their own and when combined give the Damasteel its excellent sharpness retention. The handle is made from titanium. Relatively light-weight and rock-solid. A piece of mokuti was placed around the pivot. Mokuti is comprised of different layers of titanium. Heating the titanium gives this material its colour. Functional? Not really. Cool? Without a doubt!


You open the Chimera with the flipper. The blade will quickly shoot from the handle and is locked by a solid frame lock when opened. The knife moves smoothly thanks to the ceramic ball bearings in between the blade and scales.
