## Wicked Edge double-sided angle adjustment with Micro Adjust

The smooth, double-sided angle adjustment makes it easy to set both sides to the same angle with a single action. Creating a perfectly symmetrical edge has never been easier! The Micro-Adjust allows you to very accurately make small adjustments, per side, to follow the original edge of your knife or to give your knife a different sharpening angle. You set the sharpening angle between 12 and 33 degrees per side in 0.05-degree increments.

## Wicked Edge Generation 4 Pro vise 

The vise has received an upgrade too. The Wicked Edge Gen 4 Pro includes the Wicked Edge DualCam® Vise that you'll also find on the WE66 Obsidian. This vise requires no tools to work, and requires less force than its predecessor. Simply use the lever to clamp the knife into position. No more hassle with hex keys! The dual rotating ridges in the clamp reduce friction and improve leverage. The lower depth keyhole has been replaced by a platform on which the back of the blade rests. The V-shaped notch ensures that even the thinnest knives stay perfectly centred. This vise will keep your knife securely in place. Stability and accuracy are guaranteed!

Because you sharpen with two sharpening stones at the same time, you can achieve great results at record speed. The sharpening system not only guarantees a razor-sharp edge, it also gives your knife exceptional sharpness retention. ## What kinds of knives can you sharpen with the Wicked Edge Generation 4 Pro?

This sharpening system is suitable for knives up to 38 cm in length and 4.7 mm in blade thickness. The [Wicked Edge Guide Rods 10 inch](/en/pt/-wicked-edge-guide-rods-10-inch-25-3-cm.htm) or the [Wicked Edge Guide Rods 12 inch](/en/pt/-wicked-edge-guide-rods-12-inch-30-5-cm.htm) will make it possible to sharpen longer knives. ## Wicked Edge Generation 4 Pro compatibility

The Wicked Edge Generation 4 Pro is compatible with the following items: all Wicked Edge sharpening stones and strops, Low Angle Adapter, Scissors Attachment, Chisel Adapter, Wicked Edge Safety Shields and all guide rods. 

The Wicked Edge Generation 4 Pro is not compatible with: accessories for the other Wicked Edge sharpening systems, the Gen 3 V2 Jaws for 1/4"" Blades, cabinet, aluminium/granite base and the upgrade kits.

## What are the differences between the Wicked Edge Generation 3 Pro and the Generation 4 Pro?

As stated, the Generation 4 Pro includes the new Wicked Edge DualCam® Vise clamps that use less force to hold the blade securely in place. Another upgrade concerns the guide rods. Their feel is much improved compared to the old system. The Generation 3's ball hinges are great, but the new hinges have an even better action and seem easier to manoeuvre. This makes the process of sharpening go smoother, and it is especially nice when sharpening several knives in a row. Moreover, Generation 4 offers more options. We measure the sharpening angle ourselves. This value is the angle per side.  So 20º means that the total angle of the edge is 40º. Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
