Very sturdy well made knife. Not as sharp as I expected. My cheap victorinox knives are easily as sharp. The free steel that comes in the box is too short so it would be best to invest in a longer one. Update. Having used the knife for a month, I feel that my original rating was a bit harsh. Because the spine is thicker than stamped knives it can wedge food apart leading me to think it wasnt that sharp. However it is very sharp and good at powering through hard vegetables.
