If you are looking for German decency for an affordable price the Zwilling Life collection has got you covered. The Life collection is characterized by an excellent price-quality ratio. The simple nature, combined with the comfortable plastic scales, make this knives easy to use. The knives are relatively light-weight and enhanced with a razor-sharp blade. You cannot go wrong with the knives from the Life collection.


The blade is made from ice-hardened steel. The result is the right hardness of the steel. The quality of the steel convinces with an optimal balance of chromium and carbon content. According to Zwilling this leaves you with the perfect mix between hardness, sharpness retention, ability to sharpen and resistance to chipping.


The ergonomically shaped handle feels great in hand, even in large hands. The handle is relatively rough. As such it feels comfortable, even while wearing gloves or when your hands are wet. The handle is enhanced with the characterizing Zwilling logo.


The transition from the crop to the blade is seamless. This is ergonomically sound, but also great in terms of hygiene. However, we recommend cleaning the knives by hand. When you clean them in your dishwasher the blade and handle can wear out faster.

Product as described. Good quality and packaging. The specific offer was great vfm. Very good communication and delivery.

Mooie starterset. Had liever een broodmes erbij ipv een wetstaal (dat is persoonlijk - ik gebruik liever een keramische slijpstaaf).
De messen zijn zéér scherp bij levering (oppassen dus!).
Het lemmet mocht wel wat dikker uitgevoerd zijn, valt wat dunnetjes uit (prijs/kwaliteit?). De messenblok is zowel mooi als plaatsbesparend en efficiënt.
