Zwilling J.A. Henckels Twin 1731 Paring knife 10 cm (4")
This Zwilling Twin 1731 paring knife combines the most exceptional materials and a stunning design with perfect cutting properties. The knife was designed by famous Italian designer Matteo Thun.
Ebony wood handle
Thun used oiled ebony wood for the ergonomic handle. This is a heavy, dark type of wood that is becoming increasingly rare. The handles were designed as such to function as an extension of your hand. The wedge on the bottom of the handle supports a professional grip, with the thumb and index finger on the blade.
Top-quality Cronidur 30 steel
The blades of the Zwilling Twin kitchen knives are made from top-quality Cronidur 30 steel. This type of steel is mostly used in aerospace engineering and is characterized by an impressive toughness and corrosion-resistance. By combining these characteristics with Zwilling's Friodur ice hardening technique this blade is razor-sharp and sustainable.
The knives are forged with precision according to the Zwilling Sigmaforce method. This means that the blades are forged from one piece of steel with the help of a machine, leaving you with an exceptionally solid, balanced and flexible blade. With the help of laser technology the knives are enhanced with a razor-sharp edge, after which they are polished by hand by expert sharpeners.
