The **Benchmade Bugout 535GRY-1** is a super light-weight and an affordable pocket knife, made in the US. The 535 Bugout is designed for hikers who pay attention to every gram. With 55 grams and 8.2 cm blade length, that was remarkably successful. The Bugout is ideal for preparing food, feather sticks to light your fire and opening packages. This version in Ranger Green has a less striking appearance than the bright blue original Bugout. The matte coating also protects the blade even better against corrosion. 

 The blade is made of CPM S30V steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC. With a very thin edge. Perfectly sharpened for peeling an apple. CPM S30V is very stainless and retains its sharpness very well. It is also easy to sharpen it yourself.

 Grivory was chosen for the handle of the Benchmade 535 Bugout. A light-weight type of plastic that is remarkably strong for its weight. For the firmness around the lock, Benchmade has fitted steel liners at the front of the handle. Normally, the Axis lock is equipped with a steel catch. To save weight, Benchmade has fitted the Bugout with a titanium variant. Just a little lighter.

 The Benchmade 535 Bugout has a slightly shorter deep-carry pocket clip than most models. Less steel means less weight: another detail Benchmade thought carefully about. You are, of course, able to place the clip on both sides to make it the perfect knife for both left and right-handed use.

Prima product, maar de lock zit vaak zo vast dat je 2 handen nodig hebt om het mes dicht te klappen. Dit is geen kwestie van vuil of even wat olie ertussen doen. Dit probleem is er al sinds het begin. 

Malgré les commentaires négatifs postés sur YouTube je ne vous dirais qu’une chose : n’écoutez pas les autres. Ce couteau est un bon EDC et l’aspect esthétique est également plaisant. J’ai ajouté du paracorde orange fluo et cela complète très bien mon Green ranger.

Prachtige edc mes, heel licht, mooi formaat, super scherp. Het klipje is goed strak, makkelijk te openen en te sluiten.
