The **Fenix HM65R** is the most powerful head torch from the Fenix HM-collection. Because of the double light source you can choose between a broad beam and a focus beam. As such you can light up, up to 163 meters in front of you. Turn both light sources on at once and enjoy a very powerful 1400 lumen light. Combined with a weight of 97 grams and a burn time of up to 280 hours this head torch is perfect for challenging outdoor sports. Think of expeditions in the snow, trail running, but also climbing and cycling trips.

 ## How to use the Fenix HM65R

 You can control both light beams with the two separate switches. Both switches were designed as such that you can also easily use them while wearing gloves. One switch controls the broad beam, the other the focused beam. By holding one of the switches down you turn on the light. The light will immediately start in the mode last used. To switch beams or modes you briefly press the preferred switch. ### Broad light modes on the Fenix HM65R

* High: 400 lumens, burn time of approx. 20:00 hours
* Medium: 130 lumens, burn time of approx. 48 hours
* Low: 8 lumens, burn time of approx. 280 hours

### Focused beams on the Fenix HM65R

* Turbo: 1000 lumens, burn time of approx. 4 hours*
* High: 400 lumens, burn time of approx. 22 hours
* Medium: 130 lumens, burn time of approx. 42 hours
* Low: burn time of approx. 90 hours

*The burn time of the highest mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest position. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to the lower light mode due to temperature regulation.

You don't want the light to accidentally turn on during transport. To ensure it doesn't you can use the lock-out mode. To activate this mode the head torch needs to be turned on. Afterwards you press both switches at the same time. The light will confirm the mode by blinking four times. The head torch won't turn on now. To deactivate this mode you press both switches again. The light will start in the lowest light mode of the broad beam.

 ## Charging the Fenix HM65R

 By tilting the light you can find the USC-C port. A rubber cover ensures that the head is protected against water and dust. A such the USB-port also cannot be damaged. Want to check the battery status while charging the light? A blue charging indicator will show you the charging status. It will take up to 2 hours to charge the battery. As soon as it is fully charged the indicator will turn blue.

 The Fenix Hm65R comes with a 18650 Li-Ion battery. But you can also use it with two Cr123A batteries. The battery indictor does not only work as you charge the light. As soon as the light is turned off, the blue indicator will give you the current battery voltage. As such you can quickly see the battery voltage.

 ## Intelligent protection

 If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops the light will switch back to the turbo mode.

TRAILRUNNERS: bestel deze HM65R met overhead strap en niet de HM65R-T. De HM65R is niet specifiek voor trail runners, maar ik heb ze beide geprobeerd en de HM65R kan ik super comfortabel dragen, terwijl de HM65R-T op en neer beweegt en alleen comfortabel is met een buff of muts eronder. Dit laatste komt ook terug in YouTube reviews.

Heel goede nachtlamp om na donker te werken op de werf. (in weer en wind)
- Zeer goed om ver  te kijken
- Zeer goed om van dicht te kijken/werken

Na verliezen vorige Fenix hoofdlamp op batterijen deze met accu aangeschaft om buiten de bebouwde kom met de hond te kunnen fietsen. Voelt stevig aan en batterij gaat lang mee ( na 3 weken en ca 21 uur nog steeds 3 van de 4 streepjes). 

Geweldige hoofdlamp, zit lekker en is niet te zwaar.
Erg fijn is de vele instellingen van de lichtintensiteit, maar de spotlight had wat meer gebundeld mogen zijn.
Kortom een mooi product voor een redelijke prijs

Matériel qui répond largement à mes attentes,  quelle qualité ! Voilà du matos que vous n'aurez pas peur de casser lors d'activités extrême , ou sous une météo déchaîné.  Le prix peut paraître élevé,  mais au vu de son accu de 3500 mah , de la qualité du produit sans oublier le choix des matériaux et de son étanchéité de 2 mètres , il se révèle être tous à fait honnête côté tarification .  Voilà un produit avec de magnifiques finitions et de nobles matières , fait pour durer . Attention à ne pas diriger la lumière dans les yeux d'autrui , cela pourrait causer des dommages irréversibles . Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec . Je recommande ce produit à tous ceux qui veulent du matériel de confiance pour partir à l'aventure sans se soucié de la fiabilité de leurs outils. Pour une meilleure durée de vie de votre accu , je vous conseil de maintenir un niveau de batterie toujours supérieur à 50% , si possible bien entendu.
