The **LionSteel M4 MagnaCut** is an all-round fixed knife designed by Michele 'Moletta' Pensato. It is designed as a knife for bushcraft enthusiasts and other outdoor fans. Large enough for comfortable use and compact enough to take with you on hikes. On the one hand the design of this knife is very modern. On the other hand it looks like a classic hunting knife. LionSteel knows how to balance these two like no other. On the spine of the blade, around the transition of the handle, you find a small protrusion. So small you hardly notice it, but large enough to offer your thumb more grip. 

## Knivesandtools Exclusive 
This MagnaCut version of the LionSteel M4 was created through a collaboration between LionSteel and Knivesandtools itself. This special edition with carbon fibre might just be the most premium LionSteel M4 ever made! In short, it's a great knife with a fantastic price-quality ratio, exclusively available at Knivesandtools. 

## Carbon-fibre handle 
Carbon fibre is an incredibly strong material. For the handles of knives, carbon fibre sheet material is used. Here the carbon fibers, often woven first, are pressed under high pressure into a strong resin. The result is a super lightweight and super strong material. It is no coincidence that this type of carbon fibre is also very popular in the construction of sports cars and racing cars, as well as in the aerospace industry. Moreover, carbon fibre simply looks fantastic. The layers in the material really give carbon fibre a high-tech look. 

## CPM MagnaCut steel 
The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut. One of the most talked-about steels in 2021 and 2022. Many feel this type of steel is 'perfect'. Quite the statement. We think they have a point. It is a stainless type of tool steel. With a comparable toughness and sharpness retention of carbon steels such as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4. The corrosion resistance is also sublime. Better than the popular stainless types of steel such as CPM S110V, CPM S45VN and Böhler M390. If that is not perfection, we don't know what is! 

The LionSteel M4 comes with a right-handed leather belt sheath. The maximum belt width for this sheath is 8.0 cm.

Ich habe mir das absolut wunderschöne M4 mit Kohlefasergriffschalen bestellt und bin total begeistert. Man hat ein ordentliches Gewicht in der Hand, die Griffschalen sind sehr gut und komfortabel geformt. Hält man die Griffe ins Licht, erbietet sich einem ein Funkelspektakel. Die Klinge aus MagnaCut in Perfektion gefertigt und geschliffen. Keine unsaubere Kanten. Die Qualität damit von LionSteel wie gewohnt und das zu einem wirklich sehr guten Preis.
Es wird mein neues EDC stehendes Messer.

Lionsteel is my favorite knife producer, next to Fällkniven and Helle. With the B40/41, M4 and M5 they make 3 of my all time favorite fixed blades in a collection well into three figures. 

I already owned an M4 with an olive wood handle, and bought this edition prepared to send it back - which I certainly won’t. The handle is strikingly beautiful in sunlight (which doesn’t show in the pictures) and manages to be both even softer to the touch, and even grippier than the olive wood handle.

MagnaCut is an amazing steel, with excellent properties, and yet quite easy to strop back to shaving sharp. 

This is a knife both nimble and tough, perfectly designed.

At the moment, this is a favorite amongst favorites, along with the Fällkniven Embla and F1, and the Helle Wakabimi. 

As usual, excellent service and very quick delivery to Scandinavia from K&T.
