I bought this good quality whetstone after extensive reviewing of the options. I'm pleased with the product, which is easy to use and seems to give an improved edge to my knives that are a mixture of types from traditional European to Japanese Damascus steel. I would recommend for keen knife users but would suggest that the rate of return for the greater expense might mean that casual users should look for cheaper, better value options.
