Head torches with red light

A head torch with red light is a head torch that, in addition to the usual white light beam, produces red light. The advantage of a red beam is that you won't lose your night vision. Red LED lights often don't have a high light intensity. All because a red beam is not meant to reach far. A bright red beam could namely still make you lose your night vision.

A 5-lumen beam is more than enough to see something up close or to light up the path in front of you. When using red light making a distinction in colours is more difficult, but the contrast is bigger.
