The **Bark River Bravo EDC** is the compact version of the famous Bravo. In terms of shape the knife is the same, only a little smaller. Perfect for daily use, hence the addition of 'EDC' to the name. This stands for *Every Day Carry*. For this purpose the size is perfect.


 The blade is made from Böhler Elmax steel. An incredibly stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. A type of ultimate combination of the wear resistance of carbon with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. The edge has been enhanced with a convex grind which you can maintain by [stropping it](/en/ct/stropping.htm).



The handle is made from Desert Ironwood. A type of hardwood mainly found in the United States and Mexico. Characterizing is the beautiful colour and the rich pattern. This great type of wood makes the knife look extra luxurious.



The Bark River Bravo EDC comes with a leather belt sheath. You can carry it both straight (belt width up to 5.5 cm) and diagonally (belt width up to 6.0 cm). 



Bark River makes all of its knives almost completely by hand. As such each knife is unique. Especially when working with natural materials a knife can differ from the photographs. The knife you receive can therefore be subtly different from the product photos. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same. Because each Bark River knife is produced by hand in select production runs the delivery times can vary greatly.
