The Böker Barlow is a classic slipjoint. A real traditional for daily tasks. These types of knives are popular amongst people who love to carry around a larger pocket knife. Not because this knife is so big, but because this knife can easily be carried alongside a bigger knife for the ‘cleaner’ tasks like making a sandwich or peeling an apple.
The handle on the Burlow is made from grenadil wood. A dark tropical type of wood with a luxurious look and feel. The large steel bolster gives the knife a little contrast, very nice.
The blade is made from stainless 440C steel. In real traditional style the blade has a stunning clippoint shape. You open it with two hands and when opened the slipjoint will firmly keep the blade in place. Please note: it won’t completely block the blade like a backlock would.
