The **Böker Manufaktur Reuzel All Black 140541** is a top-quality straight razor. Böker has been producing straight razors for over a hundred years and has an excellent reputation in this field. This *straight razor is made in the Böker workshop in Solingen, Germany. This razor is made in cooperation between Böker and Schorem, a world-famous barbershop in Rotterdam. In addition to shaving products Schorum also supplies products such as pomades, balms, bearded oil and much more under the name of 'reuzel'. It is also how this razor got its name.*

 *This straight razor has an extra hollow grind with a ridge. The extra hollow grind gives you an extremely thin edge which is also a little flexible. This razor is amazing to work with but perhaps not as suited for heavy beard growth. The ridge ensures that the spine of the blade is thick enough to be blocked by the handle. In addition, the spine provides support when determining the right sharpening angle while stropping and sharpening.*

 The handle is made from sturdy black G10. The handle has been enhanced with a light texture that provides a lot of grip. Incredibly practical! As such you have a lot of control over the razor. Even when your hand is covered in soap or foam. On top of the blade, where the thumb is placed, fine ridges will give you extra grip. As such your hand won't slip while shaving. The blade is enhanced with a PVD-coating. This gives the knife a tough look and feel.

 ## Solingen 1.2210 carbon steel

 Böker selected the famous Solingen carbon steel for this straight razor. Although the technical number 1.2210 might not mean that much to most, the term *Solingen* has an excellent reputation worldwide. You could even say that a part of Solingen's reputation as a knife city is the result of the excellent steel quality. After sharpening it is razor-sharp which leaves you with even softer and more comfortable results.
