The **Casström Make Your Own Fire Striker 139231** kit contains all materials you could possibly need to make your own firesteel. A nice piece of curly birch wood for the handle, a thick and strong firesteel and a piece of reindeer leather for the lanyard.

 All you need is a 10.0 mm drill and a strong glue. Epoxy, if possible. You will also a slightly smaller drill (approximately 4.0 mm) for the lanyard hole. Afterwards you need a file and sandpaper to shape the handle.
