The **Condor Heavy Duty Kukri Knife 1813-10HC** is a powerful machete in the classic kukri style. It has a tough appearance and is suitable for heavy tasks. Originally, the kukri was a knife used by the feared and revered Gurkhas in Nepal. These fierce warriors used their kukris day in and day out. Due to the blade shape, a large part of the weight is placed at the front. It is therefore excellent for chopping.



The blade has a convex grind. It's nice and strong, and can be sharpened with a strop. The blade of the Condor Heavy Duty Kukri is made of 1075 carbon steel. This is a strong steel that is easy to sharpen, and can also take quite a beating. 1075, however, is not completely stainless, so you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle.



The handle is made from walnut wood and secured with brass pins. The Condor Heavy Duty Kukri Knife comes in a solid faux leather sheath with a belt loop.
