The **CRKT Gulf 2795** is a robust and large pocket knife. Designed by Ryan Johnson from RMJ Tactical. An expert in the field of solid fixed knives and robust tomahawks. They are made for heavy-duty use and to last a lifetime. Without it ever breaking.

 You can clearly see this expertise in the Gulf. Just like with the RMJ Tactical tomahawks this knife can handle its own and everything has been thought of to make it as easy to use as possible. The G10 handle is enhanced with a rough texture to make sure the knife can't slip from your hand during use. The spine of the blade and backspacer are also enhanced with ridges to make sure you gave enough grip. A clever detail is the texture on the pivot and the thumb stud. As such your thumb cannot slide off the thumb stud when you open the knife and you can also easily open the knife while wearing gloves.

 For the 10 cm long 8cr13MoV steel blade Ryan Johnson chose a low *full flat grind*. Because it is relatively low, and the spine of the blade relatively high and thick, the blade is incredibly robust. You don't have to worry that this blade will break during heavy use. The blade is also relatively thick behind the edge. This is also great during heavy-duty use and it ensures that the edge won't be damaged in the process. The tip, however, is still thin enough to make sure you can also easily carry out the more detailed tasks. When opened the blade is locked by a liner lock that ensures it won't close when you don't want it to.

 The elegant deep-carry pocket clip is very interesting to look at. You wouldn't expect this on such a large knife. The advantage is that you can discretely carry the knife in your pocket. Because you can carry the knife deep in your pocket the CRKT Gulf doesn't feel like a massive knife, also because a large part doesn't stick out of your pocket.
