Full description
The CRKT HZ6 Black 2927, designed by James Williams is an homage to the Hira-Zukuri. Originally a short and classic Japanese sword. From the 8th century. This characterizing blade shape was originally used for daggers and short knives. Later also for swords. The CRKT HZ6 is a modern interpretation and beautifully embodies this Japanese classic.

The knife is a great choice for a budget Williams blade if you look on his website they’re going for $600 + so this is a good option. The only downside is the sheath and the clip it comes with. You can’t really get Tek Lok to fit because of the position of the holes, so I used Tek Lok loops which I like but then you’re limited to horizontal carry.

This blade is awesome and meets all tactical needs from a Williams perspective, the only let down is the sheath.

Fantastic knife from CRKT, excellent SK-5 carbon steel used in the full tang blade, grips are just sublime, with amazing texture and grip using G10, scarily sharp and a needle point tip.

Not too big not too small with different ways to carry
