The CRKT Snap Lock has to be one of the most innovative pocket knives on the market. This pocket knife designed by Ed van Hoy was originally introduced in 2005. It immediately won the prize for the most innovative pocket knife. Since then there have been few knives that use an even more special mechanism. In the meantime, the Snap Lock has disappeared from the CRKT assortment for a short period of time. Fortunately, the Snap Lock is back!

A very sharp knofe which would benefit froma plastic cover the idiosyncratic opening mechamism was fine an could indeed be used one-handed, but there is always a riisj of it trying tp open o the wrong side, cutting the owner.

I bought this knife as part of a collection only. The blade material is ok for domestic occasional use. It's a very neat fiddle with knife. The blurb says, that the pocket clip can be changed over to the other side for left handed people. I'm not sure how successful this would be as, the clip is not of an ambidextrous design? All in all though a nice little knife.
