The **Fenix FD20** is a revolutionary LED flashlight with focusing beam. Within the range of focusing lights its small size definitely stands out. After all, most lights that have an adjustable beam have a head that is a lot larger. The Fenix FD20 doesn’t have this because Fenix approaches the focusing option a little differently with the FD20. Where normal lights work with an adjustable lens which distorts the beam Fenix works with an adjustable reflector with the Fenix FD20. As such the head of the light is a lot smaller. As a result you can easily take this flashlight with you in your jacket pocket.


Because of its focusing beam the FD20 has a maximum beam distance of 115 meters according to the ANSI norm. You can easily switch from a wide to a focused beam by rotating the ring behind the head of the light. This ring can turn 360 degrees. As such you will never have to think about which side you need to turn to adjust it.


The *Fenix FD20* derives its strength from two AA batteries. Available almost anywhere so you will never be without. You can choose alkaline batteries for one-time use, but also NiMH-batteries that can be recharged.


You can use the tactical switch on the back to turn the light on. By pressing the same switch halfway down you can switch between the four different light modes. The lowest light mode is 8 lumens and the highest offers you 350 lumens.

* Medium (50 ANSI lumens, 12 hours)
* High (100 ANSI lumens, 4 hours)
* Turbo (350 ANSI lumens, 36 minutes)

* Medium (50 ANSI lumens, 16 hours and 40 minutes)
* High (100 ANSI lumens, 7 hours and 30 minutes)
* Turbo (350 ANSI lumens, 2 hours)

Wat een super lamp. Eerst was ik een beetje teleurgesteld omdat ik vond dat hij op de sterkste stand niet meer gaf dan op de voorlaatste. Tot dat ik er de oplaadbare batterijen in plaatste. Met de gewone batterijen kom je niet aan die 350 lum. Stevig lampje waar echt wel wat licht uitkomt. Heel handig om te focussen ook omdat je gewoon kan blijven door draaien.
