The **Fenix FD41** is a top-quality LED flashlight, with a focusable beam. As such you determine whether you will use a broad beam for up close, or a narrow beam for far away. The Fenix FD41 will come in handy anywhere.

Unique about the Fenix FD41 is that it isn't bigger than many other Fenix flashlights. It fits inside your pocket but still gives you the options of two specialized lights. The 900 lumens beam is provided by the Cree XP-L Hi LED light. This light derives its power from the 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries.

## How to use the Fenix FD41

The Fenix FD41 is easy to use. The tactical switch on the back of the light enables you to turn the light on and off, and with the side switch you can switch between four constant light modes. If you press this button a little longer you go to the stroboscope mode.

To focus the beam, there is a ring with a subtle grip just behind the head of the light. By turning it the beam will switch from broad to focused and back. You can therefore rotate it completely to continuously adjust the beam. The ring deliberately provides some resistance to prevent unintentional twisting of the beam. It has really been carefully thought through! In the highest mode the focused beam (spotlight) reaches up to 340 metres. In the broad mode (as floodlight) you still reach 47 metres.

Uitstekende straal licht, handzaam geheel. Wel gaat de focus erg stroef wat niet zo handig is.

Op de eerste plaats service van Knivesandtools is weer uitstekend te noemen vandaag voor 22:00 wanneer product op voorraad is besteld ,en ik had de lamp de volgende dag al in huis.

De lamp op zich licht goed in de hand mede door de ring op het uiteinde vd lamp.
En de licht opbrengst is zeer goed en voldoende te noemen voor mij dus een goede aankoop.
Wat ik wel opmerk is dat de ring verstelling voor focus wat zwaar gaat.
Maar ik denk dat het net als met nieuwe schoenen is ,na veel gebruik gaat het beter.

Mooie krachtige zaklamp. Lamp aangeschaft in combinatie met fietsbeugel. Als je veel fiets in het donker op onverlichte paden is deze combinatie echt top! De bevestiging op de fiets is super. Deze beugel bestaat uit 2 delen. een deel bevestig je op de fiets en een deel aan de lamp. De lamp schuif je dan eenvoudig in de houder op de fiets. De lamp is ook goed te richten op de weg. Nadeel is dat er een deel van de beugel aan de lamp blijft zitten. Wil je daarna bijvoorbeeld "de hond uitlaten" dan zit dat deel een beetje in de weg. Deze is dan wel weer makkelijk te verwijderen middels twee draaiknoppen.
Van deze lamp kun je de focus veranderen van heel breed naar heel smal. Bijzonder aan deze lamp is dat in de breedste stand (regelbaar met een verdraaibare ring achter de kop) je een volledig egale uitlichting hebt zonder donkere vlekken. Echt indrukwekkend. Wanneer je de lichtbundel smal maakt heb je een heel groot bereik, ook in de op een na hoogste stand. Meer dan voldoende om veilig te fietsen in het donker.
Ook ben ik goed te spreken over de bediening met 2 knoppen. Achter op zit de aan/uit knop. Voor op zit de standen schakelaar (10/150/350/900 lumen + stropscoop 900 lumen). Als je de lamp aanzet staat deze op de laatste stand. 
De 10 lumen stand is ook echt heel prettig. Voor talloze zaken is dit al meer dan voldoende licht. Meer zoals een ouderwetse lamp.
Ook heb ik er gelijk een 18650 accu + lader bij aangeschaft. De batterij heeft op de 350 lm stand met fietsen niet het eeuwige leven. Na 3,75 uur is het dan wel gedaan. Dan is even opladen wel handig. 
Om de lamp ook tijdens het kamperen als leeslamp te kunnen gebruiken gelijk de diffuser aangeschaft. Ook dit is een nuttige accessoire die de gebruiksmogelijkheid van de lamp verder vergroot. 
Kortom, een echte allrounder!

Zoals gewoonlijk bij eerdere aankopen wat de bezorging weer de volgende dag. Ook bij eerdere bestellingen was dit het geval.

De lamp is stevig en degelijk en ik vind de zoomfunctie ideaal. Ik gebruik zo nu en dan een lamp op een geweer en de lampen die ik tot nu toe heb gebruikt P3D en PD35 TAC geven veel licht maar meer in de breedte. 
Met de zoom wordt er veel licht op een punt gegeven.

Minder:
Het huis van de FD 41 lijkt veel op de PD 35 TAC en ik heb het  jammer genoeg niet goed gelezen, maar de mogelijkheden van de 35 zitten niet in de 41 (het vast instellen van de min/max waarde en de stroboscoop) Mijn fout.

De zoom ring draait erg zwaar en bij het verdraaien wordt er zo nu en dan de instelknop aangeraakt waardoor de lamp in een andere stand komt.

Misschien komt er nog eens een vervolg op deze lamp met de mogelijkheden van de 35 TAC ????
