The **Fenix FD65** is a very powerful LED flashlight with a focusable beam. This means that you can determine yourself whether you would rather choose a wide beam (54 degrees wide), or a smaller beam (10 degrees wide) that enables you to reach even further. And with those 3800 lumens you will get very far!


The light head has been enhanced with three Cree XHP35 Hi LED lights. Real powerhouses that have been optimized for an as wide as possible reach. According to the ANSI norm the Fenix FD65 reaches 410 meters in the spotlight mode. But also don’t underestimate the strength of the light with a wide beam (floodlight)! According to the specifications you will ‘only’ have 86 meters in turbo mode. In reality, however, you will quickly learn that this is definitely an overwhelming explosion of light! We have to admit that even we were shocked when we saw it in the dark. It is great that Fenix choose neutral-white light, which ensures a more realistic colour reproduction.


Because you can choose a balanced beam yourself you will often have enough light to find your way in the dark when you use the lowest mode (Eco: 30 lumens). The main advantage is that the light will function for 86 hours in that mode.


The Fenix FD65 derives its strength from four 18650 batteries (not included). However, if you only have 2 batteries at hand the light will also function with only 2 batteries. In that case, however, you need to pay attention to how you put the batteries in the light.


The controls on the FD65 are very well-thought out. Only two buttons, and yet you can reach all seven modes by only clicking twice. When you use the Fenix FD65 for photography purposes you will be pleasantly surprised when you find the tripod connection at the bottom of the light. All regular 1/4” tripod screws will fit on this connection.

Relatief compacte zaklamp die zelfs in de laagste stand een pak licht brengt.  De hoogste stand (3800 lumen) is leuk om mee uit te pakken, maar in de praktijk heb je met 2 standen lager al ruimschoots voldoende licht.  Zaaaalige autonomie.  Zéér handig is ook de instelbare focus; dichtbij of long range.
