Fenix starts to become my favorite manufacturer in the flashlight scene. Their products are superb quality. This headlamp is super comfortable, light, gives the optimal amount of light for hiking, casual walking, or for a 'around the house' worklight. The red emitter is a HUGE plus for me, i can use it many times on my forest walks / tenting. The headband is my favorite now, and i tried many types. The angle of the beam, the neutral color is super pleasing, and it has the right mode spacing to have one for every ocassion. Only downside is that the battery life is not so long, but hey, put extra cells to your pocket and change it when it needed. I bought some cells with usb charging port so while im using one i can charge the other in my backpack from a powerbank. What you get for the shorter run time is the overall feeling of NOT feeling the light on your head at all. Great. One detail that i want to point out and is hard to find on the web is that it has a plastic lens, not a glass one.
