The **Kershaw Iridium 2038R** is an impressive pocket knife from Kershaw, with a reverse tanto blade shape. Perfect for everyday use. The knife is equipped with Kershaw's DuraLock, which is very similar to the well-known Axis lock. With this lock, you easily close the knife with one hand. Because this lock is in the back of the handle, you unlock the blade without your fingers coming near the sharp edge. The mechanism is very smooth, so the knife has a high fidget-factor.

## Kershaw Iridium blade

The slim blade of the Kershaw Iridium is made of D2 steel and has a stunning finish. It stays sharp for a long time, it can take a beating, and it's easy to sharpen. D2 is not completely stainless so clean it after it comes in contact with moisture. Many people don't mind this small drawback, since the steel offers a lot of advantages in return.

## Kershaw Iridium handle

The handle is slightly curved and made of aluminium. A strong yet lightweight material. As a result, the knife feels very solid and weighs very little. The knife has an interchangeable deep-carry pocket clip to make the knife easy to carry in deeper trouser pockets for both left and right-handed use.

Endlich gibts das Iridium auch als Reverse Tanto Variante.
Die Verarbeitung ist Klasse: Es kommt scharf out of the box, flippt sauber und die Klingenzentrierung passt. Das Stonewash passt optisch super zu dem silbernen Backspacer und dem Pocket Clip sowie zu den schwarz matt eloxierten Alu Griffschalen.
Der Pocket-Clip ist in der Griffschale versenkt und lässt sich beidseitig montieren. Etwas frontlastig durch die große Klinge aner nicht so extrem wie beim Benchmade Bugout.
Meiner Meinung stimmt bei Kershaw die Preisleistung einfach noch!
