The **Knivesandtools survival bracelet cobra wave** is made from rock-solid paracord 550 and features an emergency whistle, firesteel and compass. The main advantage of a paracord bracelet is that you can carry 3 metres of paracord without even really noticing it. Paracord has many uses: whether you want to hang a tarp, lift something heavy, or use it as a shoelace, paracord can come in handy in all kinds of situations.


## Knivesandtools survival bracelet cobra wave: the material


The bracelet is made from paracord 550. This is a sturdy, lightweight nylon cord with a tensile force of no less than 250 kg. The cord is comprised of seven core strands that you can also use individually. The individual tensile force might be a lot less, but it is still usable in many situations. The thin strands from the core can even be used as a suture material in an emergency.


## Knivesandtools survival bracelet cobra wave: comes with lots of extras


This bracelet features an emergency whistle, a compass, and a firesteel. The [firesteel](/en/ct/using-a-firesteel.htm) is part of the buckle. You need to remove the protective layer before first use. Simply scratch it off by moving the metal strip alongside the magnesium rod. After removing the protective layer, you can start making your fire. Place the firesteel at a 45 degree angle to your tinder. Move the metal strip alongside the magnesium rod and sparks will fly. You'll have a fire in no time!
