Full description
This Laguiole en Aubrac 7 cm pocket knife is a classic Laguiole knife. The handle is made from olive wood. The spine of the handle is decorated with stunning filework. The blade is made from stainless Sandvik 12C27 steel. Both the bolsters and the blade have a slightly matted finish.
You open this Laguiole knife with two hands. When opened, a slip joint holds the blade in place. This is not a true lock, merely some resistance to keep the knife from closing. When closing the knife, it is important that you carefully lower the blade into the handle. If don't do this carefully, the blade will hit the inside of the handle, which could affect the sharpness of the blade.
Laguiole en Aubrac knives are made with love. The handle of this classic French pocket knife naturally features the characteristic bee. This handmade pocket knife has a slender appearance. Because of the manual labour and the natural materials used, each pocket knife is unique.
Please be aware that materials like wood have natural variations. The knife you receive may therefore be subtly different from the product photos. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same. This means all the knives are unique, which is of course what makes them so special.
