The **Medford Der Hund** was designed by Greg Medford as the perfect companion. A compact but capable pocket knife that won't easily scare anyone. The name Der Hund comes from the name the American marines were given by the Germans during the First World War.

 You can easily open the Medford Hund with the slot in the blade with one hand. When opened the blade is blocked by the solid framelock. Because the stoppin is pressed into the blade the construction is slightly stronger than with the conventional stoppin.

 CPM S35VN is a premium, stainless type of steel. For years this has been one of the most popular types of steel on the market. It is, for stainless steel, rather tough and relatively easy to sharpen. Remarkable about the Medford knives is that the hollow grind on the blade is applied by hand. Only a rare few producers apply a hollow grind by hand.

 Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. It takes approximately one year for Medford to ship their knives. Knives that are available on our website are in stock and can immediately be shipped. However, be there in time: it might take a while for the new stock to arrive!
