About the Miyabi 5000FCD-series
The Miyabi 5000FCD series combines a magnificent design with the use of high-quality materials. The knives have a Fc61 core, surrounded by 48 layers of damask steel. Thanks to a special Friodur ice-hardening process, the blades are extremely robust with a hardness of 61 HRC.
Honbazuke-style grindThe blade is symmetrically sharpened in a traditional Honbazuke manner. Here each knife is sharpened and stropped by hand in three stages. The sharpness obtained from this is retained for a long time by the hardness of each knife.
HandleThe D-shaped handle is just like the blade it really something. The black pakka wood gives the handle an exclusive look. All thanks to the decorative red ring finish and the beautiful mosaic pin.
Zwilling JapanThe Miyabi collection is produced by Zwilling Japan and is the ultimate combination of German decency and traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
