Modulary sharpening steel with diamond and ceramics, and the MicroForge-system


The **Work Sharp Culinary M3** is a modular sharpening steel, consisting of a handle and two sharpening steels. The two steels are made from ceramic and diamond. The ceramic sharpening steel has a smooth side and a ribbed side. Use the ribbed side for the coarser grinding work, then refine the edge with the smoother side. The diamond sharpening steel is tapered, so you can also use it to sharpen bread knives.


What's handy about the Work Sharp Culinary M3 is the built-in guide, which always maintains a sharpening angle of 17 degrees. The front part of the handle is chamfered at an angle of 17 degrees. When sharpening, always hold the knife against this bevel to ensure the 17 degree angle.



Work Sharp's innovative *MicroForge* is a unique feature. It is a small wheel in the handle of the sharpening steel that rolls a kind of micro-serration into the edge. This increases the edge's traction on products that are difficult to cut, such as tomatoes.



You can switch between the sharpening steels by turning and pulling at the same time. This releases the bar so you can exchange it for the other.
