The Bark River JX6 Companion is a multi-functional outdoor knife that was designed by Chris Tanner. The edge of the Bark River JX6 is round towards the tip and the spine is slightly hollow to have enough room for your thumb. As such it is perfect for gutting game. The JX6 is also a great cutting tool for, for instance, red peppers, sausage and for many other small cutting tasks. In short: the JX6 is a real all-rounder and indispensable when camping, hunting or backpacking.
The blade is made from CPM 154. A premium type of stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. As you might expect from Bark River the knife is razor-sharp. The edge has been enhanced with a convex grind which you can maintain by stropping it.
The handle is made from Desert Ironwood. A type of hardwood mainly found in the United States and Mexico. Characterizing is the beautiful colour and the rich pattern. This great type of wood makes the knife look extra luxurious.
The Bark River JX6 Companion comes with a leather belt sheath (max. belt width 5.0 cm). The sheath contains a small magnet that keeps the knife in place.
