The **Fenix PD36R V2.0 LED flashlight** is a compact and rechargeable flashlight that is mostly suited for EDC use, outdoor activities and tactical purposes. With a maximum light output of 1700 lumens and a beam distance of 396 metres the PD36R V2.0 is a real powerhouse. Thanks to its compact size, you can easily take the flashlight with you. Carry it in your pocket or attach the flashlight to your belt or bag with the included pocket clip.

## How to use the Fenix PD36R V2.0

The tactical switch of the Fenix PD36R V2.0 has a momentary-on function. Hold the tactical switch down and the light will momentarily turn the highest mode on. As soon as you completely press down the switch it will stay on. You simply select the desired light mode with the stainless steel switch.

Is the light turned on? As soon as you press the MODE button, the light will temporarily function in the stroboscope mode. To deactivate it you press the button again. Thanks to the memory of the light it will always start with the mode last used. This does not only apply to the stroboscope mode.

## Charging the Fenix PD36R V2.0

The head of the light contains a USB-C port. A rubber cover ensures that the flashlight is protected against water and dust. It prevents the USB port from being damaged. Want to check the battery status while charging the light? A red-green charging indicator shows you the charging status. Each time you turn the light on the battery indicator will show you the current battery voltage. This way you can quickly see the battery status. ## Prevent a too deeply discharged battery

Are you not using your flashlight for a while? Always make sure to unscrew the tail cap a little bit. This prevents your battery from becoming too deeply discharged. Even when the light is off, it still draws some power from the battery. A battery that is too deeply discharged often cannot be recharged. That would be a shame!

Do you have a torch with built-in battery where you cannot remove the battery? Make sure to charge the light at least once every 3-4 months, even when not in use. This also prevents the battery from discharging too deeply, and it is good for the lifespan of your battery!

  * High: 800 lumens, burn time of approx. 4 hours and 15 minutes
  * Medium: 350 lumens, burn time of approx. 7 hours and 45 min.
  * Low: 50 lumens, burn time of approx. 50 hours
  * Eco: 5 lumens, burn time of approx. 482 hours
  * Strobe: 1700 lumens

*The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the light automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

## Intelligent protection

If you use the high or turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 50°C or higher, the light will automatically reduce the amount of lumen to also reduce the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops, you can switch back to turbo mode.
