My first folder by this Japanese company, probably not the last The knife compares favorably to folders of similar size (blade and overall) by Viper and Fox, offering the same level of quality of materials and fit and finish. The action is very smooth, yet the blade, once opened, feels 100 percent stable. I love the overall blade design and grind. If there is anything to question, its the clip position at the front, making this tip down cary: should the blade ever open in the pocket, the blade tip would point at the artery. Solutions include using a sheath, or placing the knife in the left pocket, which would place the spine of the blade against the seam of the pocket. For me, this is ultimately a design solution, and, during use, the clip actually feels less awkward in the palm than on other knives using rear attachment. Either way, a very nice knife to own.
