This Nitecore TINI really lives up to its name in terms of its size. However, this small keychain flashlight is capable of great things. With its CREE XP-G2 S3 LED, the light has a maximum light output of 380 lumens. It is also rechargeable via micro-USB. And all these features in a light that's only 4 cm long and weighs only 22 grams!
The body of the Nitecore TINI is made of aero grade aluminium alloy - in other words, very high-quality aluminium. It is finished with galvanised, silver-coloured edges. There is a small ring on the back of the light so you can hang it from your key ring. Nice and easy to attach to your bunch of keys.
Small in size, massive in its capabilities
The Nitecore TINI has four different light modes to choose from: Turbo (380 lumens, 15 min burn time), High (145 lumens, 1 hour burn time), Medium (38 lumens, 4 hours burn time) and Low (1 lumen, 60 hours burn time). There are two switches on the side of the flashlight. An on/off switch gives you access to the 'normal' light. Simply press it down and the light will turn on. Use the mode switch to change between the High, Medium and Low modes. Want to use the Turbo mode? When the light is off, press the mode switch down and within a second you'll have the maximum amount of light at your disposal.
Nitecore TINI: easy to charge
The Nitecore TINI gets its power from the built-in 280mAh Li-ion battery. It's easy to check the status of the battery: simply press down once on the mode switch, and both switches will display a flashing blue light. If the battery has almost run out, it will do this automatically to signal that the battery needs to be charged. You can charge the flashlight via the micro-USB port at the base of the torch. A cable is not included, but it's more than likely you already have one at home, to charge a smartphone or tablet, for instance. It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to fully charge the flashlight. Once charged, the battery will turn off and the blue indication light will shine constantly.
The Nitecore TINI is available in several versions, including this one in black.
