Full description
Beautiful Japanese nakiri (vegetable knife) made with damask steel blade. The core of the blade is rust resistant VG10-steel with a cover of classic damask steel. In total 33 layers of steel. The top of the blade shows a hammer pattern. This looks nice and also prevents food from sticking.
The handle is made of very smooth feeling Spanish mahogany. It has a warm appearance with a deep red colour. The shape of the handle, combined with the stainless steel bolster has a more European look. A special blend of various styles. Of course the blade has a classic Japanese edge. That means that the blade is incredibly sharp out of the box.
For the maintenance of this knife we recommend ' Naniwa ' Japanese Waterstones.
