The Spyderco Drunken C235CFTIP is not just any pocket knife. This knife is a work of art and one of the most high-end Spyderco's ever produced. The Drunken was designed by none other than Dmitry Sinkevich. A world famous knife designer and knife maker who is respected in the knife world. Despite the fact that Dmitry Sinkevich worked with other brands it is the first time that he worked with Spyderco.
The Drunken owes its name to the wavy pattern on the handle. When Dmitry Sinkevich designed this pattern on the CNC-machine he drank a glass of vodka. That was how he came up with the idea of calling this a 'drunken' pattern. This pattern runs over the whole of the handle and is milled into the handle with great precision. The Spyderco Drunken is also enhanced with a blue anodized pivot, pocket clip and backspacer. This stunning accents elevate the knife. Spyderco even milled out a spider web-style pattern on the inside of the titanium handle to make this knife even lighter. A cool detail! Spyderco selected S90V steel for the sheepsfoot-style blade. An incredibly hard premium type of steel, for a premium pocket knife.
All in all the Spyderco Drunken is a very remarkable pocket knife. You can clearly see Dmitry Sinkevich's design style which made him so famous. This, in combination with Spyderco's level of quality, is a match made in heaven!
