Full description
The Spyderco Shaman is a large and cool pocket knife, designed by Spyderco founder Sal Glesser. The Shaman has different characteristics you might have seen in other Spyderco pocket knives. At the same time, however, the Shaman is really different.
We start with the familiar: a blade with a thumb hole, made from S30V steel with a stonewashed finish, and a solid compression lock. An invention from Sal Glesser himself. Steel liners enhanced with holes to keep the weight low with around it G10 handles.
And those G10 handles are exactly what give the Shaman its character. They are beautifully rounded and have a matt finish. They are large, provide space for even very large hands, and are at the same time very ergonomic.
Because of it the Shaman has obtained its own place within the Spyderco range. A fascinating design that can be used as a work knife. However, because of its interesting construction, ergonomics and lock it is definitely still a collector’s item that will definitely be coveted by knife enthusiasts.
