Spyderco Stretch 2 Blue K390 C90FP2K390 pocket knife

I had been meaning to try K390 after having used S90V and even Rex 121 but wanted something with more toughness. This steel fits the bill and the blade geometry on the Stretch was also a pleasant surprise. I’ve never really liked the shape of PM2s and this was reminiscent of that but I’m a convert. Overall the knife carries well and is very light for its size. If I had to change one thing it’s the FRN scales but the construction of the Stretch does not make it feel cheap. The back lock is not my favourite but given its intended use I get why Spyderco chose it. This is not a fidgety knife and that’s fine for me anyway, I have other knives for that. Overall I like the Stretch so much I’d buy another if ever Spyderco decided to run a few with different scales. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

Great blade and steel. Not a fan of frn so i bought aftermarket scales. Banger of a knife!
