Full description
The Spyderco Tasman Salt 2 is a practical pocket knife for everyone who works or recreates in maritime surroundings. The blade is, after all, completely stainless. That is because it is made from H1-steel, a type of steel in which all carbon has been replaced by nitrogen. The result is a guaranteed stainless type of knife steel that retains its sharpness well.
The curved and serrated blade is perfect for cutting through rope and lines. The curved shape makes sure that the high-fibre rope is actually pulled into the edge and the serrations take care of an efficient and quick cut.
The handle is made from bright yellow and distinctive FRN. That is fiberglass-reinforced plastic that is incredibly strong. You open the Spyderco Tasman Salt 2 with the thumb hole and a solid backlock keeps the blade neatly in place.

The knife is of a high quality. Order turned around and delivered quickly. I’ve purchased this as a safety knife for sailing so hope to not need to use it in anger to cut a line! However other reviews I’ve seen tell me this knife stands up to salt water abuse brilliantly.
