In an emergency, speed is of utmost importance. This is why the holster of the Leatherman Raptor is perhaps even more important than the tool itself. The design of the holster is incredibly practical. The Raptor, when closed, will fit inside the holster. Makes sense, right? But are you assisting a victim and need to get rid of the scissors for a second? The Raptor also fits in the holster in its open position. Leatherman Raptor Rescue-Tool vs Leatherman Raptor Response
At first glance, the Leatherman Raptor Rescue Tool and Raptor Response look pretty similar. However, there are some differences. The Response version of the Raptor is a little more compact than the standard Raptor. As such, it is even easier to carry in your pocket. In terms of tools, they are also slightly different. The Response version, for instance, does not include the glass breaker or the seatbelt cutter. In return, you do get the compact size and lighter weight.
