The **Lion Sabatier Idéal Périgord chef's knife 20 cm** is a chef's knife for cutting up vegetables, meat and fish. An excellent balance makes the knife feel very steady when using it. The handle made from walnut wood makes this knife not only practical, but also very graceful.

## Lion Sabatier Idéal Périgord blade

The blades of these knives are made from French 4116N steel. This is an upgrade compared to the standard 1.4116 steel. It's a stainless steel type and thanks to the addition of nitrogen, it's even more tough, strong and hard-wearing. The blade extends all the way into the handle and the bolster extends to the heel of the blade. As a result, the balance is outstanding and the bolster also ensures that your finger does not easily come into contact with the knife's sharp edge.

## Lion Sabatier Idéal Périgord walnut wood handle

The slim walnut handles of the Lion Sabatier Idéal Périgord kitchen knives are made of beautiful walnut wood, which not only gives a natural look, but also adds durability and warmth to the user experience. The walnut wood is carefully selected for its strength and rich colour. The handle is nicely rounded making it feel great in hand. The three brass rivets are not only an extra decorative touch, they also ensure that the handle is securely attached to the full-tang construction.

As the handles are made from wood, we recommend washing these knives by hand and keeping them far away from the dishwasher. The high temperatures and aggressive detergents can damage the wood. That's why we recommend washing the knives by hand, to keep them in tip-top condition.
