The Spyderco Para 3 C223GPS is the successor of the Spyderco Paramilitary 2. Well, not completely. Globally the same shape, same lock and the same type, only smaller. The Para 3 is a cm shorter. It is an adjustment many Spyderco enthusiasts asked for despite the widely acclaimed Paramilitary 2. The adjustment to a slightly more compact model increased the wearing comfort. Other than that the Para 3 includes all characteristics of the Paramilitary 2.

My favorite EDC out of a couple dozen knife purchases over the last couple years. I read the Para 3 was scaled down as compared to the P2 to make it more carry friendly. But, in retrospect, I don't mind a big EDC knife. So if I were to go back in time, I'd buy the PM2 in the same pattern - Camo G10, black blade. Love the weight, feel, and smooth deployment
