Le Creuset pan: colourful pans and cookware for every kitchen

You can recognise a Le Creuset pan straight away by its solid finish, striking colours and classic French look. The brand is best known for its enamelled cast-iron Le Creuset casseroles, but the range has since become much broader. Think of Le Creuset frying pans, cooking pots, saucepans, tagines, sauté pans, oven dishes, mini cocottes, utensil jars and other stoneware for use in the kitchen and on the table. With a pan from Le Creuset, you are making an excellent choice.

Le Creuset set

For those who like to use multiple products in the same style, a Le Creuset set is an excellent choice. This way, you can combine different pans or stoneware products in the same colour and style. Would you prefer one specific Le Creuset pan for everyday use? Then you can choose from different materials and series.

Le Creuset series

The cast-iron pans from the Le Creuset Signature series are ideal for stews, soups, sauces and dishes that benefit from gentle cooking. Cast iron retains heat for a long time and distributes it evenly. A Le Creuset stainless steel cooking pot is ideal for cooking at high temperatures, responding quickly to temperature changes and everyday use on the hob.

Le Creuset frying pans also suit different cooking styles. The Le Creuset 3-ply stainless steel frying pans are durable and suitable for proper searing. The TNS frying pans, short for Toughened Non-Stick, are robust and convenient for quick dishes. The Non-Stick Ceramic frying pans have a ceramic non-stick coating and are ideal for ingredients that tend to stick more quickly, such as eggs, pancakes or delicate fish.

In addition to steel pans, Le Creuset also offers a lot of stoneware from the Les Céramiques series. This series consists of oven dishes, utensil jars, mini-cocottes, bowls and other stoneware items for cooking, baking and serving. The strong Le Creuset stoneware is made for everyday use and looks stylish enough to place straight on the table. From preparation to serving: everything feels that little bit more refined.

History of Le Creuset

The history of Le Creuset begins in 1924 at the Brussels Trade Fair. There, Armand Desaegher, a cast-iron specialist, and Octave Aubecq, an enamel specialist, meet. In 1925, they founded Le Creuset together. Their combination of enamelled cast iron was an immediate success.

The first pans are made in France and stand out for their quality, colour and long lifespan. The classic casseroles in particular, based on the French casserole, grew into an icon in kitchens all over the world.

Over the years, Le Creuset continues to innovate with new colours, shapes, materials and series. Yet its recognisable look is always preserved. These days, the brand makes much more than just cast iron, including stainless steel pans, frying pans, ceramic oven dishes, mini cocottes and kitchen accessories. The foundation remains the same: strong French cookware, made for years of cooking pleasure.
