This Jende Leather Bench Strop-block is a fine leather strop, exactly the size of many sharpening stones. You can therefore easily secure it in the same whetstone holder you would also use for your (Japanese) sharpening stones. This strop has a surface made from kangaroo leather. This is the strongest type of leather in the world. The advantage is that it also has a great structure. As such the sharpening results are very even.

Very good overall. Does not have much “give” due to the thin nature of kangaroo leather hence lacks feedback. However thats a positive in case you use it to hone woodworking tools for instance
