Flashlights with beams of more than 10,000 lumens are real pocket-sized powerhouses. They are enhanced with an incredibly bright beam and can shine really far. For that reason these flashlights are often used by professionals such as police, security personnel and rescue brigades. You do need to be careful with flashlights with such a powerful beam. You could easily blind someone with it!

Rechargeable 10.000 lumen flashlight

Most flashlights with over 10.000 lumens are rechargeable and enhanced with one or multiple 18650 or 21700 batteries. With such a battery most lights will function for a couple of weeks if you use them on a regular basis. In most cases charging is easy via a charging cable.

Flashlight with intelligent protection

A flashlight with a beam of over 10.000 lumens can quickly build up heat when turned on in its highest setting. That is why many models are enhanced with intelligent protection. This means that when the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature has dropped you can switch back to the mode you were previously using.
