Bushcraft pocket knives: compact and easy to take with you
When you think of a bushcraft knife you often think of a fixed knife. There are, however, also pocket knives that are perfect for bushcraft tasks. Think of fine wood work. Great to keep close, next to a very large bushcraft knife. As such you will always have a knife for the smaller tasks.
Bushcraft pocket knife vs bushcraft knife
A bushcraft pocket knife is, of course, never the strongest option. It is sometimes jokingly said that a pocket knife is 'by definition broken' because it can close. A fixed knife cannot close. In that sense a bushcraft pocket knife will never replace a fixed knife. Don't use it when batoning. It is made for cutting tasks.
