Features of the Vosteed Raccoon

A striking feature of the Vosteed Raccoon is the innovative Top Liner Lock. This system ensures that the blade locks smoothly and securely, and also makes it a real pleasure to use. You can easily close the knife with one hand by pressing the liner release button. This makes the knife ideal for those who like to handle and practice with their knife.

Vosteed Raccoon: the blade

The medium-sized, fully flat-ground blade offers excellent cutting performance and is suitable for both precision work and cutting through tougher materials. Thanks to the generous “jimping”, the knife can be used comfortably in a variety of ways and you always have a firm grip.

Vosteed Raccoon: the handle

The combination of strategically placed “jimping” and a cleverly designed recess for the index finger ensures a firm and comfortable grip during all kinds of cutting tasks. Together, they provide excellent control during use, particularly when carrying out precision work.

Vosteed Raccoon: multiple variants

The Vosteed Raccoon is available in several versions: the standard version with a drop-point blade, a version with a clip-point blade and a modified sheepfoot blade variant.

All models are available in a range of colours and blade finishes. This means there is a suitable option for every user.

Designed by Yue Dong

Yue, a designer and co-founder of Vosteed, developed a passion for knives at a young age thanks to his father’s collection; who used his knives in his work as a biologist. With access to design software and a workshop, he began designing knives himself. When it comes to knife design, he is a strong advocate of combining functionality with a certain “fidget” factor. One of his main priorities is therefore to develop new locking mechanisms that make using knives even more enjoyable.
